Single-row deep groove ball bearings have the most representative structure among rolling bearings and are widely used. Besides bearing radial loads, they can also bear axial loads in two directions. With a small frictional torque, they are most suitable for applications requiring high-speed rotation, low noise, and low vibration. For this type of bearing, besides the open type, there are also bearings with steel plate dust covers, bearings with rubber sealing rings, or bearings with snap rings attached to the outer diameter of the outer ring. Generally, steel plate stamping cages are mostly used. For deep groove ball bearings, copper alloy machined cages are used for large-sized bearings. When used for high-speed rotation, machined cages are also used.
